STYLUS FOR SHURE R1000EDT CARTRIDGE (Realistic Catalogue No. 42–2770)
The replacement for the Realistic Shure RS8T needle stylus is used with the Shure R1000EDT phono cartridge (Realistic Catalogue No. 42–2770). The stylus features a highly polished special elliptical diamond with a .0003 x .0007 inch radii. It is bonded to a metal alloy cantilever for long playing life and very good tracing characteristics. It results in fine detail and pristine clarity.

I purchased this to replace a Pfanstiehl needle that was just not doing the job. The difference in sound is staggering -- a much clearer sound than before. My only concern is that when I put it into my cartridge, it didn't fit as snugly as I was used to, however it's staying put and playing like a dream. I'm very happy I made the decision to buy this stylus. Thanks!
