The stylus features a highly polished Vivid Line diamond bonded to a narrow aluminum alloy cantilever tube for superior tracing of record grooves, excellent rendition of voice and music and harmonically complete sound quality.

Thorens Replacement Belt

Belt is more robust than old belt. Highly recommended.

Giant Killer

If you have an OM body, base or Super, you owe it to yourself to get this stylus. It plays WAY above its price range! I am still breaking it in, but wow! On new vinyl it is dead quiet. No pops, background noise or hisses. Plays music from top to bottom without me missing any midrange.
I have 3 different versions of these, shure n75ed2, at 3600l, now this ortofon version which could become my favorite. Buy these and get a good phono stage ( I am using an old nad 7140) and stop worrying about expensive cartridges! An absolute jem!

Stylus definitely improved sound over 40+ year old original stylus! Am slightly bothered that it's a bonded diamond rather than nude, though my 70+ year old ears likely couldn't detect a difference any more, if they ever could. Makes every LP I've played so far sound like new again.
