LP GEAR ZUPREME HEADSHELL

The LP Gear Zupreme headshell is the finest half-inch mount headshell available. Engineered and then hand-assembled and polished to crispness by artisans in Japan, each LP Gear Z headshell is holistically designed to achieve highest fidelity.

For strength, lightness and structural solidity, the LP Gear Zupreme headshell uses an aerospace construction metal alloy we call Zupreme. A similar metal alloy is used in high grade engine components and engine blocks by Porsche, Volkswagen and BMW.

For supreme electrical connectivity, heavily plated gold plugs and high purity copper wires are used as base material.

The LP Gear Zupreme headshell is also horizontally adjustable. This is a critical feature. It enables the user to horizontally align the diamond tip of a stylus for correct tracing of record grooves thus resulting in highest fidelity.

Now there's a headshell for the supreme listener - the LP Gear Zupreme headshell.

LP Gear Zupreme headshells

Magnesium alloy headshell, made by Jelco, same as their HS25 model, 13gm wt, best price on the web.

Zupreme headshell installed

Purchased to mount Lyra Delos on Technics SL-1200G arm. Well built. Azimuth adjustment is good to have. Takes a bit of finesse to set it but once there you have center channel vocals placed as they should be. I am buying a 2nd one for a Hana ML cartridge.

Carbon Fidelity is a bargain!

I’m not even going into details about how much money (thousands) I’ve spent on different phono cartridges with exotic stylus. Comparatively, the Carbon Fidelity CFN3600LE Stylus is an incredible bargain. Tracks very well, low surface noise, zero IGD and best of all sounds terrific. You really can’t go wrong!

Excellent sound quality

Life changing

I wish I was being dramatic
I didn’t want to pay for a new record player for my Billie Ellis vinyls
But I can listen to the songs clear as day now with this!! Okay, it skips sometimes as you would expect
But cheaper than getting a couple hundred dollar record player

Very nice upgrade.

I've had this for over 6 months, and I can report that it has much better bass, and treble than the original. Everything is very clean and detailed sounding. A few notable examples. I recently ordered Eva Cassidy Live Blues Alley 25th anniversary, 180gram, 45RPM. The soundstage is absolutely amazing. It is on the same level, if not surpasses MoFi Eric Clapton Unplugged SACD. My sister gifted me the soundtrack to Sinners on 180gram vinyl. I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I didn't know vinyl could support so much bass. My room becomes fully pressurized with that soundtrack, backed by a SVS SB3000. Last would be Miles Davis Kind of Blue. I have this on 200gram 33/3RPM and MoFi SACD. I can hear tape hiss on both, and both sound very much the same. SACD wins on floor noise, but really not by much. My vinyl copy is also crazy clean sounding, but sonically sounding, they sound so close.
