AUDIO-TECHNICA AT-95E AT 95E AT95E PHONO CARTRIDGE

Imported and packaged by LP Tunes, the Audio-Technica AT95E phono cartridge has a very distinguished and colorful lineage. On its own, it has been a multiple recipient of Best Buy ratings in the UK. Its lineage is intertwined with the classic and musically acclaimed Linn Basik, K5 and K9 phono cartridges. Unlike these cartridges however, the AT95E is delightfully affordable and available. Since October, 2004 and up to the present, the Audio-Technica AT95E phono cartridge is included in the Stereophile Recommended Components List. It is the only inexpensive phono cartridge to be included in this highly selective recommended list! The review summarized the performance of the Audio-Technica AT95E phono cartridge with the following words: "Makes music for 50 bucks!"

Paul Szabady in Stereotimes March 2007 had this to say about the Audio-Technica AT95E phono cartridge:

"The AT95E integrates the range of the sonic bandwidth very well: no part of the spectrum sticks out at the listener. It doesnt sound bright and it doesnt sound dull at the top frequencies. Midrange is clear and detailed with no spittiness on vocals, though really cheap and inadequate analog match-ups will cause an slight upper mid-range burr."

The half-inch standard mount and dual-magnet Audio-Technica AT95E cartridge sounds clear, dynamic and richly balanced. It allows music lovers to use limited means to upgrade their turntables and thus attain a higher level of discernment and listening pleasure without the financial burden typically associated with high end cartridges. Yes it is vibrant, dynamic and rich in detail as reviewers and users say, and some users may no longer wish to upgrade further. The Audio-Technica AT95E phono cartridge has been consistently rated a "Best Buy" in the UK and we agree wholeheartedly.

Treasured turntable

Thank you LP Tunes, I now have my ancient treasure back in play. All it took to restore my ancient treasure was a cartridge with the stylus. LP Tunes for ever.

Carbon Fidelity is a bargain!

I’m not even going into details about how much money (thousands) I’ve spent on different phono cartridges with exotic stylus. Comparatively, the Carbon Fidelity CFN3600LE Stylus is an incredible bargain. Tracks very well, low surface noise, zero IGD and best of all sounds terrific. You really can’t go wrong!

Excellent sound quality

Life changing

I wish I was being dramatic
I didn’t want to pay for a new record player for my Billie Ellis vinyls
But I can listen to the songs clear as day now with this!! Okay, it skips sometimes as you would expect
But cheaper than getting a couple hundred dollar record player

Very nice upgrade.

I've had this for over 6 months, and I can report that it has much better bass, and treble than the original. Everything is very clean and detailed sounding. A few notable examples. I recently ordered Eva Cassidy Live Blues Alley 25th anniversary, 180gram, 45RPM. The soundstage is absolutely amazing. It is on the same level, if not surpasses MoFi Eric Clapton Unplugged SACD. My sister gifted me the soundtrack to Sinners on 180gram vinyl. I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I didn't know vinyl could support so much bass. My room becomes fully pressurized with that soundtrack, backed by a SVS SB3000. Last would be Miles Davis Kind of Blue. I have this on 200gram 33/3RPM and MoFi SACD. I can hear tape hiss on both, and both sound very much the same. SACD wins on floor noise, but really not by much. My vinyl copy is also crazy clean sounding, but sonically sounding, they sound so close.
