AUDIO-TECHNICA AT-33EV AT 33EV AT33EV PHONO CARTRIDGE

The Audio-Technica AT33EV cartridge super cedes the AT33ANV, a limited edition and highly rated model launched in 2006 to mark Audio-Technica's 45th anniversary. The Audio-Technica AT33EV cartridge is thoughtfully and thoroughly designed, meticulously and exquisitely crafted so that each component part enhances the cartridge's ability to reproduce signal from the record grooves accurately, perfectly as technologically possible. It is a perfectionist's cartridge.

"It brought out more of what's embedded in the grooves of my LPs than any MC in its price range."1

Features
- Resonance damping design reduces the minutest unnecessary vibration
- Hardened duralumin tapered pipe cantilever to reproduce natural sound without distortion
- High quality nude elliptical stylus that traces the grooves and reproduces with opulence
- 10 ohms middle impedance specification to minimize signal loss due to the coil's electrical resistance
- PCOCC6N coil enables purer transmission because it is not subject to grain boundaries in the direction of transmission
- Neodymium magnet with dramatically enhanced and concentrated magnetic energy
- Coil stabilizing VC mold that affixes the coil minimizes unnecessary noise and parasitic resonance and thus enhances treble sound quality
- Internal housing anti-vibration damping material, Hanenite, suppresses unwanted vibration and allows outstanding performance of the dual moving coils to fully express itself
- Brass installation screw used to match the cartridge's high quality sound

LP Tunes CARBON FIDELITY CFN3600LE Stylus

Carbon Fidelity is a bargain!

I’m not even going into details about how much money (thousands) I’ve spent on different phono cartridges with exotic stylus. Comparatively, the Carbon Fidelity CFN3600LE Stylus is an incredible bargain. Tracks very well, low surface noise, zero IGD and best of all sounds terrific. You really can’t go wrong!

Excellent sound quality

Life changing

I wish I was being dramatic
I didn’t want to pay for a new record player for my Billie Ellis vinyls
But I can listen to the songs clear as day now with this!! Okay, it skips sometimes as you would expect
But cheaper than getting a couple hundred dollar record player

Very nice upgrade.

I've had this for over 6 months, and I can report that it has much better bass, and treble than the original. Everything is very clean and detailed sounding. A few notable examples. I recently ordered Eva Cassidy Live Blues Alley 25th anniversary, 180gram, 45RPM. The soundstage is absolutely amazing. It is on the same level, if not surpasses MoFi Eric Clapton Unplugged SACD. My sister gifted me the soundtrack to Sinners on 180gram vinyl. I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I didn't know vinyl could support so much bass. My room becomes fully pressurized with that soundtrack, backed by a SVS SB3000. Last would be Miles Davis Kind of Blue. I have this on 200gram 33/3RPM and MoFi SACD. I can hear tape hiss on both, and both sound very much the same. SACD wins on floor noise, but really not by much. My vinyl copy is also crazy clean sounding, but sonically sounding, they sound so close.
